Will High Joy Enabled® products work with a Mac or other operating system besides Windows?
Yes and no. The product drivers can only be installed on Windows-based operating systems. So, users with the HighJoy Enabled® products need a Windows-based operating system to have it controlled through the computer. However, the products can be controlled remotely over the Internet by users with operating systems such as Mac and Linux using our flash-based HighJoy controller through a web browser.

What if my computer doesn't have a serial port?
If your computer doesn't have a serial port you'll need to purchase a Serial to USB adaptor. You can purchase a compatible Serial to USB adaptor in our Product Store. The Serial to USB adaptor we sell on our site has been successfully tested with our products under a variety of conditions…unlike other adaptors sold elsewhere.

What are the minimum computer requirements I need to operate my High Joy Enabled® product?

Can I control my own High Joy Enabled® product through the computer?
Yes. Make sure your toy is connected to your computer...launch the HighJoy Console and click "Local Control" to control your own product locally through the computer.

How will my product purchase appear as a charge on my credit card?
You will see a charge from HJP.

Are your orders shipped in discreet packaging?
Yes, all orders are shipped in discreet packaging so the contents are not easily revealed.

Is it safe to use a High Joy Enabled® product while it is connected to my computer?
High Joy Enabled® products are not designed to draw power from your computer. The cable connected to your computer is for transferring data only. High Joy Enabled® toys are powered by batteries…just like the leading standalone personal massagers on the market today.

How do I "Authenticate my High Joy Enabled® product"?
You can authenticate your product by launching the HJ Console and choosing “Connect to remote party” from the Main Menu. A new browser will be launched and you should simply follow the directions. Alternatively, you can authenticate you product by selecting “Authenticate massager” from within your HighJoy.com Profile.

Can I use rechargeable AA batteries in my High Joy Enabled® product?
Yes, we actually recommend rechargeable nickel cadium (NiCd) batteries made by one of the major brands. Remember, your product and batteries will last longer if you properly store the product without the batteries inserted.

My High Joy Enabled® product isn't working in standalone or through the computer?
Make sure all of the batteries are fully charged and inserted as indicated in the battery compartment. iRabbits take 4 AA batteries, iBullets take 3 AA batteries.

My High Joy Enabled® product is working standalone but not through my computer?
If you encounter this issue please try the following:

  1. It is possible your toy has not been authenticated. You can authenticate you product by selecting “Authenticate massager” from within your HighJoy.com Profile.
  2. Please make sure both ends of the serial cable are connected securely. If your computer has more than one serial port, try switching the serial cable to another serial port and reboot your computer.
  3. If you've tried steps 1 and 2, and your product still doesn't work please contact us.

I've tried everything, and I can't get my High Joy Enabled® product to work?
If after troubleshooting by reviewing and following the suggestions noted above you're product still doesn't work, please contact us.

Can I return or exchange a defective High Joy Enabled® product?
Because of the intimate nature of High Joy Enabled® products, we only accept returns or exchanges if the product is defective. If you purchased a defective product from HighJoy.com and you are within your 90-day warranty period, you can exchange your product for a new one. You must first obtain a Return Authorization number from customer service. Then send the product to:

Where can I find the High Joy Console download?
You will have access to download the High Joy Console after becoming a member at HighJoy.com.

How do I or others use the flash-based HighJoy Controller?
The member with the High Joy Enabled® product should first launch the HighJoy Console, select “Connect to remote party” and login. The remote party wishing to use the flash-based HighJoy Controller should launch the controller from your HighJoy Widget or their Profile. The remote party should then enter your HighJoy Handle…you'll receive an invitation for a private HighJoy Enabled® session. Click “Accept” to start your session.

Is my username and password for the High Joy Console the same as my username and password on HighJoy.com?
Yes.

After installing and launching the High Joy Console I receive an unhandled exception when opening the application?
If you receive this error make sure you have Microsoft .Net version 1.1 or later installed on your computer. If you do not have .Net version 1.1 or later installed you can get it here:

After installing the proper version of .Net, please uninstall and reinstall the High Joy Console and reboot your computer.

Make sure your toy is connected to the computer...launch the HighJoy Console and click "Connect to remote party". One of you enters the other's HighJoy Handle and that person will receive an invitation for a private High Joy Enabled® session.

I can't establish a successful High Joy Enabled® session with another member?
There are several reasons that you and/or your partner may be having trouble:

  1. Both parties should make sure both ends of their cables are securely connected.
  2. Both parties should make sure the batteries in their toys are fully charged.
  3. Both parties should make sure they have active Internet connections.
  4. Both parties should make sure they are logged into the High Joy Console
  5. Neither party can already be in another High Joy Enabled® session
  6. If you've tried steps 1 - 5, and you still can't connect, please contact us.

In "Edit Profile", select the "Edit Account" tab and make the appropriate changes to your credit card information.

How do I make changes to my Profile?
It is easy to make changes to your profile. Login to HighJoy.com…in the "My Options" menu select "Edit Profile". Simply update the appropriate information on your profile and click the "Save Changes" button to submit the changes.

How do I upload and manage my pictures?
In "Edit Profile", you can update your main profile picture or make changes to your Private Photos under the “Private Photos” tab.

How do I allow one or more members to view my Main Profile?
We created the "Access List" tool to allow you to manage which members have access to view your Main Profile. Members included on your Access List will be able to view your Main Profile. Your Main Profile will remain "invisible" and inaccessible to Members not included on your Access List. Go to “Edit Profile” then select the “Access List” tab to manage your Access List.

How do I allow one or more members to view my Private Photos?
We created the "Privacy List" tool to allow you to manage which Premium members have access to view your Private Photos. Premium Members included on your Privacy List will be able to view your Private Photos. Your Private Photos will remain inaccessible to Premium Members not included on your Privacy List. Go to “Edit Profile” then select the “Privacy List” tab to manage your Privacy List.

How do I send emails to other members?
You can send an email to another member one of two ways.

  1. Navigate to the member's profile you wish to email. Select "Send Email" from their main profile page.
  2. If you know the HighJoy Handle of the member you wish to email, you can send an email from the "My Mailbox" webpage. Once in your HighJoy Mailbox, simply click the "New" button, enter the member's High Joy name, write the email and click Send.

If I send an email to another HighJoy.com member is my personal email address kept private?
Yes, we will never share your personal email address with other members without your permission. We take our member's privacy very seriously. Other members will not be able to get your personal email address without you providing it to them in your profile or through other communications.

How do I cancel my HighJoy.com membership?
You are able to cancel your membership at anytime by contacting us. The cancellation request will be processed within 48 hours. Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
